IEC Alpro is proud to announce that Sales Office Manager Jo Baldwin and Warehouse and Purchaser Manager Tina Hartley recently undertook the formidable task of walking the renowned Jurassic Coast. This incredible journey spanned a distance of 26 miles and aimed to raise funds for the invaluable Macmillan Cancer Support team.
The adventure began amidst wet and blustery conditions, but as the day progressed, the weather cleared, and the sun illuminated the path for the over 2,000 participants who marched towards the finish line at Norden Farm near Corfe Mullen. After 10 hours of unwavering determination, Jo Baldwin and Tina Hartley successfully completed the walk, leaving them with a sense of fulfillment and an eagerness to tackle future challenges. They are currently exploring the possibility of organizing another ambitious endeavor, potentially joined by fellow colleagues at IEC.
The altruistic efforts of Jo and Tina were met with tremendous support from the community, resulting in a substantial sum of over £1,000 raised. This generous contribution will be promptly delivered to Macmillan once all sponsorship money has been collected.
We commend Jo Baldwin and Tina Hartley for their exceptional dedication and selflessness in undertaking the Jurassic Coast walk. Their commitment to supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support team exemplifies the core values of IEC Alpro, which seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
